Whenever it detects a possible infection, it displays a dialog, allowing you to block the threat.
The scanner, which is built into the application, can be started anytime by the user. There are three types of scanning your computer, such as full, quick, and custom scan. However, there isn't a big difference between a full scan and a quick scan. Whenever you perform a full system scan, the hosts file is also tested. This file is used by some spyware to redirect you to their web pages.
A smart update feature is available. You can update the threat database in just a few easy steps. Updates for this kind of software are very important, because they provide protection against new threats. It's also possible to configure the program to download automatically the new updates.
The program's user interface looks nice. The best thing is that it provides easy access to all the settings and features. Of course, the program can run without any user intervention, but it's good to know that it's possible to configure the protection more thoroughly.
